A little slow with our updates. I was resting for the past week after my wisdom teeth surgery. Thanks for every one concern every thing went well expect for the first two days, I could not speak properly. Thanks for those lovely couple who turn up at our home floral studio for discussion despite that I could not speak properly. Apologize if my speech was terrible.

We did some lovely wedding the past weeks. Pictures can be found at our multiply site. We did a purple and silver theme wedding at St Teresa church. We will a little worry that purple will overwhelm the whole place. Our worries were too much. It turn out great with white back ground and beautiful lighting inside the church.

A special wedding to mention. This was the first time that we encounter a lovely bride who does not want any green (leaves) in the floral arrangement. She had chosen shade of pink as her wedding theme. Different shade of roses, eustomas and hydrangea and berries were used for the whole church set up. We loved the outcome.
The night before part of my place, living hall was so pinky that when my hubby got home that night made a remark wow so pink! He hardly notice what flowers or colour each time but that day the pink must had shock him.

The pink flowers were well received by the guests. All the floral arrangement were all taken by the guests. Some of the guests were a little disappointed when they did not manage to get one. We were very happy that after every wedding all the floral arrangement were taken. Some times, the flowers combination and colour really tempted me, wishing to have one too. At times I would tell my mummy if none of them take, I would bring home one.

It was really a busy Saturday for us. After the pinky set up, we went and delivery an order, rental of floral stands for a church wedding. When we arrived, the couple's friend were in the mist of setting up the church decor. Yellow roses tie with olive green and white ribbon. Lovely colour. We also make a trip to four season hotel to deliver hand bouquets.

Yacht Decor

We are really excited about this assignment. Yacht solemnization wedding decor.

The timing for the decor was really strict. We were much earlier than the appointed time. We were not allow to board the yacht to start our decoration. We waited for the appointed time, spending our time admiring the surrounding scenery.

The yacht is docked at Keppel Bay, Marina. The yacht name is Whatever. At the lobby area there were some restaurants. We had just taken our lunch therefore no chance to try the food. May be the next time if we do have another decor.

When the clock struck 2pm, the yacht keeper came and pick us up. No shoe allow on board the yacht. Every one got to remove their shoe. We are bare footed. The deck was so hot, suffer from some blisters after the decor.

Nice experience!

Pasir Panjang Hill Brethen Church

Our first time decorating this church. A nice and cosy church situated at Pasir Panjang hill road. For the ladies helper they were all dressed in shade of green and pink. Very sweet nice colour. The guys wore white shirt with pink tie. Not sure if any of them were in green tie as those that we meet were in pink tie.

Lots of area needed to be decorated for this particular wedding. The couple chosen pastel colour and garden wedding theme. Pastel pink, green and ivory were the main colour. Floral such as roses and eustomas were used. Lots of vines, greens and flowers were used to create the garden feel.
For the sanctuary, alternate chairs were decorated with posy and link with vines. Scatter of rose petals along the aisle. A twig arch was constructed at the last row of the chairs. Pictures tell a thousand words, I will not further describe the decor.

At the reception area, the bride proposed to have some vines hanging from the ceilings. This is what we had done.

Congrats to the lovely couple!

Bukit Batok Presbyterian Church

It had been a long time ago since we did a decor at this particular church. The couple helpers will there much earlier than us. Testing out the audio system, putting up the lovely photos of the couple and well wishes card and many stuffs will done way ahead.
Lot of preparation, prayers and planning were done for each successful wedding. We could see the great effort put in by the helpers.

Back to the wedding decor details. The couple chosen a bright colour theme. Peach rose for the entire decor. Some white baby breath and green were added. Pew decor tie with ivory sash.

The entire decor is simple and not too empty.

Congrats to the lovely couple!

Villa Raintree Resort and Spa

A lovely place to hold an outdoor wedding. The place is surrounded with lot of greeny.
A beautiful white metal gate, began the journey to venue. It is just like those fairy tale story. Big magnificent gate at the entrance to the palace.

At the garden, a glass house was built at the centre of the pool. Very lovely. Nice place to exchange marriage vows. The couple chosen pink, blue and white as their colour theme. Sweet and nice combination. The only set back for this place is the mosquitoes.

We decorated the indoor spas area where the dinner banquet was held. A cosy wedding. Red seats cover, big round table which cater to 12 pax per table. The place was a little cramp after all the tables and chairs were in place.

Next we moved on to the outdoor area. I was attacked by lots of mosquitoes. Lots of bites from them. Joking to my mummy, that I had fed the mosquitoes really full. The couple and guest would be spared.

Congrats to the lovely couple.

Hotel Function Room

Met up the bride one week before the wedding to discuss the colour theme and at the same time view the function room. There was so little time for discussion. We only managed to exchange a few sentences as that day of met up was also the day of their rehearsal.

We would like thank the bride for the trust in us to do the decor.

A simple function room decor with 2 topiary and aisle chair decor.

City Harvest

This was the first time that we decorated the place. We were greeted by this magnificent building located in between the blocks of flat. As were drove in, we were greeted by two security guards. One of them directed us the way to the car park. Not long after we had parked our car, one of them came and approached us. He told hubby to drive off as we got a dog with us. We explained to him that the dog and Hubby were be in the car. The dog would only be in the car. This was not even allowed. He mention, "no pets is allow, people see it later will complain". No choice even after explained our stands, hubby was told to leave.

I was a little upset about it. Off hubby went, mummy and me took the lift up to level 4. We were great by the bride. A very friendly and lovely bride. She introduced us to the rest. Very quickly every things were done. Off we went.
Some pictures of the wedding decor.

Holy Family

Lovely morning, with some cool breeze blowing on my face. Got up early this morning to set off for an early decor. When we reached the church premise, the wedding party and the bride and groom had arrived. I was in shocked. Late for wedding decor? In my mind, lot of thoughts came floating in. I remember clearly, the wedding decor set up time but the worries were still there.
I asked the couple, were we late. Reconfirm again the wedding time. Out off a sudden, I could feel the large rock rolled off. Sometimes, I did dreamt that we were late for decor. Rush like mad! Such things should never never happen. We are always Kaisu, set off much earlier than the appointed time. Early is better than on the dot. Some times traffic is the one that we are most afraid. A little jam here and there would make the great difference.

I was a little slow with the set up that day as I was down with fever. Still looking good on the outside. Great that hubby helped us to carry out the floral arrangement. Mummy is always a great help.

I like the flowers so much that day, I told mummy to pick some back if none of the guests took the flowers. The hydrangea were great. It is one of the flower that I like. I was eyeing on them. Time for dismantle, all the pews flowers were intact. I reminded mummy again to pick some for me to bring home. To our surprise, when we were dismantling some guests approached us to have the flowers. We are glad that the flowers were taken and appreciated by them. Otherwise, they were be landed into the bin as I would not be taking that much home. I managed to have two of them to bring home to decor my place.

St Teresa Church

We witnessed another lovely couple who got married in St Teresa Church last Saturday. We decorated the church with the chosen theme by the couple lavender and cream. Some combination of white was used in the decor. Nice, soft and sweet colour. This particular colour is really popular among couples.

We also did the bridal car decor, bridal bouquet and many more.

I did something really out of my norm. Not too disclosure what I had did. It did really create an impact and a lesson was taught. Better get back to the topic.

This time round we did the decor of the church on the day itself. We arrived much early then the appointed time hoping that the church door would open earlier. When the clock struck 10am, there was no sign of any one coming to unlock the door. We still remain cool and calm. One of the bridesmaids started calling trying to contact the church care taker. No respond on the phone. I decided to walk to the back door to see if the church care taker had arrived. Make a number trips, finally one last trip paid off. I heard key sounds coming from the inside of the church. What time was that, I did not see the time. All focus was to get the decor done up. Every one were very helpful. They helped us to carry the floral arrangement. Finally all set. Sad to say, this is the last time we would be able to do up the door decor. The church is no longer lending us the ladder. To all future couples we are sorry, we are not able to decor the door as my hubby car is unable to pack in such a tall ladder. For all future couples, if you would like the door entrance decor to be done up, do speak to church stuffs for any possibility to lend out their ladder.

At 11am sharp, the bride arrived. All the bridesmaids, pageboys, flower girl were in their position getting ready to march in. All the bridesmaids dressed in a lovely shade of tiffany blue with a white sash. The bride wore a full lace tube gown. Very elegant gown. The minute the door opened, the violinist was the first one to move forward. Very beautiful march in, lovely music that was played by the violinist. So romantic.

Congrats to the lovely couple.

Church of the Holy Family

Beautiful morning! I woke up at 6am to get ready all the floral arrangement for the wedding decor on Saturday. This is to ensure the flowers were in the best condition and freshness especially for the kissing ball. I could hear the birds chipping while I was doing up the floral arrangement. As usual my dog would walk up and down trying to get my attention as she would like to go for her morning walk.

The night before we decorated the bridal car for the couple. I was a little too short to reach certain part of the car to fasten the decor. Next time, I should bring along a stool to stand.

Time to set off! Loaded all the decor items off we went.

After the decor, Mummy and I took a stroll along the road outside the church as it was still early for my scheduled appointed time to meet up with another couple to discuss their wedding plan. The couple wedding is also going to be held at the same church. We found a little coffee shop that sell traditional cakes, custard puff and many more. The place was so crowded, we decided to take away some items. Mummy decided her choice and I also got one for myself. Nice!

Met up with the lovely couple at the church premise. Discussion went well. Stay tuned for their decor.

St Teresa Church

Another decor done at St Teresa Church last Saturday. Purple theme was the colour chosen by the bride. Some thing unusual this time. I got my hubby to help out to do the set up together with my mum and me. Shown him the way to tie the pews, tie the couple chair sash and many more. He did pretty good job for first timer. Hope that he would help out often and understand more about my work.

No pictures to view as I forget to bring my camera along. Hubby took a few pictures on his I-phone, yet to pass to me. Sorry no pictures at the moment.

I had never met the bride and groom before the wedding. They were recommended by our ex-couple. We are very grateful to our couples recommending their friends to us. Met the bride for the first time when we went back to dismantle the decor. She wore a lovely lace gown. The groom wore military uniform. Not sure if they have a military wedding in church.

I could see that the bride was a little exhausted after the ceremony. She took the opportunity to rest in the sanctuary, chatting with a friend. She must had woken up real early in the morning!

Congrats to the lovely couple!

We loved out door wedding decor. We had the opportunity to decor a beautiful out door setting with lush of greenery at Hyatt hotel, Oasis bar and restaurant. All our hearts were set to create and turn the place to a beautiful venue for a wedding, for the lovely couple.

While preparing the flowers earlier the day, getting the vine into shape and lots more preparation were done. I was particular happy as it had been a long time since we did an outdoor wedding. Every thing was completed by mid afternoon. Before we set off, I received a call from the bride that it was raining over at the venue. My heart sank. I prayed that God will grant us fine weather at 5pm. That was the dead line, if the rain did not stop by then we had to used the backup plan by the hotel.

We arrived at the hotel slightly later than the appointed time due to the rain. The traffic were slow.

While getting the dining area ready, we continued to pray. When we completed the dinning area, the rain stopped. Praise the Lord. Eagerly, I rang the bride to inform her about the good new.

After some pushy here and there, the groom got the restaurant manager to agree to set the out door venue instead of using the back up plan. Almost completed the decor, slight drizzle started. We were so sad while removing the decor and moved to the private function room at Mezza 9.

The room provided was rather small, lighting was very dim. Hope that the candles that we provided will create more lighting and warm to the room.

Our heartiest congrats to the lovely couple!
