St Teresa Church

We witnessed another lovely couple who got married in St Teresa Church last Saturday. We decorated the church with the chosen theme by the couple lavender and cream. Some combination of white was used in the decor. Nice, soft and sweet colour. This particular colour is really popular among couples.

We also did the bridal car decor, bridal bouquet and many more.

I did something really out of my norm. Not too disclosure what I had did. It did really create an impact and a lesson was taught. Better get back to the topic.

This time round we did the decor of the church on the day itself. We arrived much early then the appointed time hoping that the church door would open earlier. When the clock struck 10am, there was no sign of any one coming to unlock the door. We still remain cool and calm. One of the bridesmaids started calling trying to contact the church care taker. No respond on the phone. I decided to walk to the back door to see if the church care taker had arrived. Make a number trips, finally one last trip paid off. I heard key sounds coming from the inside of the church. What time was that, I did not see the time. All focus was to get the decor done up. Every one were very helpful. They helped us to carry the floral arrangement. Finally all set. Sad to say, this is the last time we would be able to do up the door decor. The church is no longer lending us the ladder. To all future couples we are sorry, we are not able to decor the door as my hubby car is unable to pack in such a tall ladder. For all future couples, if you would like the door entrance decor to be done up, do speak to church stuffs for any possibility to lend out their ladder.

At 11am sharp, the bride arrived. All the bridesmaids, pageboys, flower girl were in their position getting ready to march in. All the bridesmaids dressed in a lovely shade of tiffany blue with a white sash. The bride wore a full lace tube gown. Very elegant gown. The minute the door opened, the violinist was the first one to move forward. Very beautiful march in, lovely music that was played by the violinist. So romantic.

Congrats to the lovely couple.

Church of the Holy Family

Beautiful morning! I woke up at 6am to get ready all the floral arrangement for the wedding decor on Saturday. This is to ensure the flowers were in the best condition and freshness especially for the kissing ball. I could hear the birds chipping while I was doing up the floral arrangement. As usual my dog would walk up and down trying to get my attention as she would like to go for her morning walk.

The night before we decorated the bridal car for the couple. I was a little too short to reach certain part of the car to fasten the decor. Next time, I should bring along a stool to stand.

Time to set off! Loaded all the decor items off we went.

After the decor, Mummy and I took a stroll along the road outside the church as it was still early for my scheduled appointed time to meet up with another couple to discuss their wedding plan. The couple wedding is also going to be held at the same church. We found a little coffee shop that sell traditional cakes, custard puff and many more. The place was so crowded, we decided to take away some items. Mummy decided her choice and I also got one for myself. Nice!

Met up with the lovely couple at the church premise. Discussion went well. Stay tuned for their decor.

St Teresa Church

Another decor done at St Teresa Church last Saturday. Purple theme was the colour chosen by the bride. Some thing unusual this time. I got my hubby to help out to do the set up together with my mum and me. Shown him the way to tie the pews, tie the couple chair sash and many more. He did pretty good job for first timer. Hope that he would help out often and understand more about my work.

No pictures to view as I forget to bring my camera along. Hubby took a few pictures on his I-phone, yet to pass to me. Sorry no pictures at the moment.

I had never met the bride and groom before the wedding. They were recommended by our ex-couple. We are very grateful to our couples recommending their friends to us. Met the bride for the first time when we went back to dismantle the decor. She wore a lovely lace gown. The groom wore military uniform. Not sure if they have a military wedding in church.

I could see that the bride was a little exhausted after the ceremony. She took the opportunity to rest in the sanctuary, chatting with a friend. She must had woken up real early in the morning!

Congrats to the lovely couple!

We loved out door wedding decor. We had the opportunity to decor a beautiful out door setting with lush of greenery at Hyatt hotel, Oasis bar and restaurant. All our hearts were set to create and turn the place to a beautiful venue for a wedding, for the lovely couple.

While preparing the flowers earlier the day, getting the vine into shape and lots more preparation were done. I was particular happy as it had been a long time since we did an outdoor wedding. Every thing was completed by mid afternoon. Before we set off, I received a call from the bride that it was raining over at the venue. My heart sank. I prayed that God will grant us fine weather at 5pm. That was the dead line, if the rain did not stop by then we had to used the backup plan by the hotel.

We arrived at the hotel slightly later than the appointed time due to the rain. The traffic were slow.

While getting the dining area ready, we continued to pray. When we completed the dinning area, the rain stopped. Praise the Lord. Eagerly, I rang the bride to inform her about the good new.

After some pushy here and there, the groom got the restaurant manager to agree to set the out door venue instead of using the back up plan. Almost completed the decor, slight drizzle started. We were so sad while removing the decor and moved to the private function room at Mezza 9.

The room provided was rather small, lighting was very dim. Hope that the candles that we provided will create more lighting and warm to the room.

Our heartiest congrats to the lovely couple!
